Dermapen 3 Skin Needling

Dermapen 3 Skin Needling Sydney

The Dermapen 3™ is an incredible, new micro-needling device, which aims to give you tighter, glowing, more youthful skin.

What is skin needling?

If you like to keep up to date on the cutting edge beauty treatments, chances are you’ve heard of skin needling. This popular treatment comes in many forms but the basic idea is that a device is used to insert many very thin, surgical steel needles into the skin. In puncturing the skin so many times in such close proximity, the body’s wound-repairing mechanisms are activated, which stimulates collagen and elastin production, smooths the skin and helps reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks.

While there are many options on the market, it is of the utmost importance that you choose very carefully when deciding to move forward with a skin needling treatment. Choosing a provider you trust who uses the appropriate tool is absolutely crucial. Because you are literally using needles to penetrate through the skin, it’s necessary to ensure that the tool and your environment are sterile, that the tool is used properly, and that you’re receiving the appropriate level of treatment to achieve your desired result.

The Dermapen 3™ has many benefits:

  • Safer and more effective in piercing the skin than traditional skin needling rollers
  • Has a superior effect on collagen and elastin rejuvenation
  • Multi-speed and adjustable needle depth
  • Highest effectiveness
  • Effectively treat hard-to-reach places
  • Promotes scar-less healing and natural collagen reproduction
  • Can be successfully combined with dermal fillers, PRP or Factor 4

For best results, we recommend 3 to 5 Dermapen treatments. These should be spaced 4 – 6 weeks apart. Once you have completed a series, your results will last up to 18 months.

After this, we recommend single maintenance sessions every 6 to 12 months.

Dermapen 3 Skin Needling for patients in Sydney looking to improve their appearance

The Dermapen 3™ will leave you looking a little pink (almost a sun burnt look) on the day of treatment. The next day you may also wake up slightly blotchy. You can cover this with mineral make up and return to normal activities.

Some patients may experience some mild skin flaking (first treatment only) for a couple of days post Dermapen treatment. This is easily managed with make-up.
